If neither side has achieved the victory conditions prior to the ending of the game, the game result will be a draw. This is intended to speed up games, and to try to reduce the number of permanent deaths in the War’s Aftermath phase.

I think we can be reasonably flexible here, but making up 6 weeks of games at once may prove challenging, so folks are encouraged to keep up to the best of their ability.įor the random scenarios, players should select a scenario at random, but should play (whenever possible) a scenario that neither player has played before.įor all random scenarios, the scenario will end when one player has been reduced to 25% of their starting models, regardless of the conditions stated in the scenario. If you cannot make a week, you will need make up your games either during a non-scheduled time (work this out with your opponent), or at the Make Up Week.

We will play the narrative campaign “Journey to the Blue Mountains” from the new Battle Companies (2019) Book. Players are encouraged to have a means of distinguishing individual BC members quickly (names written on bases, specific paint schemes, conversions, etc.) Proxies are also allowed, but it must be obviously clear to your opponent what the proxy model represents. Painted models are not required (although there will be a prize at the end of the campaign for the best painted/modeled/converted) Battle Company. This is a loose guideline, and at the start of the game, if both players agree, this time limit may be waived.Īll results of “Aftermath of War” (injury resolution, experience, equipment purchases, reinforcements, promotions) should be determined in the presence of the opponent for that game.
